Caine Prize Nominees 2009
The nominees for the Caine Prize for African Writing [the biggest African short story prize] are up at http://www.caineprize.com/. Slowly making my way through them - have really liked the ones from past years, including the very beautiful, very haunting "Weight of Whispers" by Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor.
